I was born with my Mother
When I was born, like every other child born, I was without anything.
I was not born with a hammer in my hand.
I was not born singing a song.
I was not born with an innate talent for anything.
It was only when I had lived 5 or 6 years when I started to hear talk of the “things we are born with”.
It took me a good 15 years more to realize how misleading these “things we are born with” can really be to a person.
Especially one in the midst of finding themselves.
That’s where I am right now.
I’m finding myself.
Or to put it more clearly, more accurately, I’m discovering myself.
To put it even more clearly and more accurately, I’m re-discovering myself.
